Day 19: The gift of graduation

Without Rinpoche, I never would’ve graduated from the University of Warwick in 2008. My family were having severe financial difficulties back then, making it nearly impossible for me to pay my Band 1 fees every term. This went on for eight terms, starting in the second term of my first year. At one point, I was hauled up to meet with the Vice Chancellor to explain my delayed payments, and threatened with expulsion AND (eventual) deportation. Rinpoche’s advice to my mum saved us during those times and brought us to where we are today.
