Day 6: The opportunity to honour my grandparents

My Ah Kong and Ah Ma, taken 13 years ago at her 60th birthday. A few years later, she passed away in her sleep, taking rebirth in a good family. Her happy smile here belies six decades of difficulties and tough living, yet this is how I remember her – happy, jolly and always warm to everyone she met. She never let her unhappiness and struggles show unlike so many people today who have been through so much less but speak about it so much more. Thank you H.E. Tsem Rinpoche for giving my sister and I the opportunity to honour our grandparents’ memory by creating merit for them.
