A nutritious meal

Nothing like a good hearty lentil soup, thanks to Rinpoche who sponsored RM6500 worth of groceries for us!

A crazy 72 hours!

Without Rinpoche, I never would’ve had the experiences I had in the last 72 hours…I went from a dog rescue to a party, to launching a haze rescue team! My Crazy 72 Hours: Rescuing Sonam (Part 1) My Crazy 72 Hours: Tiffany’s relaunch (Part 2) My Crazy 72 Hours: Beat the haze with Kechara! (Part […]

Spreading the word in Bukit Bintang!

(Update (27 June 2013): We appeared in the New Straits Times! Well done Red Warriors!) The day after the Tiffany’s event, I was exhausted. After two hours of sleep, a lot of smiling and balancing on my high high heels, I wanted nothing more than to spend the day in bed, with my air-conditioning switched […]

The night before

You would think after two hours of sleep, the last thing I’d want to do is go to a party but I had promised to go, and the Managing Director is a really lovely person so I kept my promise and off I went…and I wasn’t disappointed! After extensive remodelling and renovations, Tiffany’s relaunched their […]

Rinpoche often has these impromptu trips in appreciation of hardworking students, and they’re always lots of fun…why WOULDN’T you WANT to spend more time with your lama? One of the things we toured was the Ripley’s Believe or […]

The gift of graduation

Without Rinpoche, I never would’ve graduated from the University of Warwick in 2008. My family were having severe financial difficulties back then, making it nearly impossible for me to pay my Band 1 fees every term. This went on for eight terms, starting in the second term of my first year. At one point, I […]

Manjushri magic

In 2008, Rinpoche brought a group of 61 pilgrims to Gaden, to offer a set of robes and a Manjushri statue to each of the 3000 monks there…and I got one of them!

Through Rinpoche kindness, I am allowed to wake up to this view everyday 🙂
